What do you day-to-day?
Working for the Emerging Technologies and Innovation team (within the IDS Department) I am responsible for staying up to date with the latest and greatest in the technology sphere. When I find something that could add value for the company the next step is to evaluate it through pilots or proof-of-concepts then draft a recommendation. Lastly, if all goes smoothly I help the implementation team get up and running then resume my quest for the next big thing

What do you like most about working for P&G?
A couple months ago 2 team members and I approached our manager with a radical project idea. We wanted money to create a proof of concept for a technology that we thought could be revolutionary! One small catch, it had nothing to do with our core jobs… he said yes! I tell this story to illustrate the tremendous trust and respect that the company has in me and for me. To allow me the space to pursue ideas that I’m passionate about and to have the faith in me to know that I’ll deliver on everything that I need to, these are not characteristics of typical companies. That faith in me is why I enjoy working for P&G.

What excites you most about your future with P&G?
A career in IDS at P&G spans so many areas and geographies. I could be working on optimizing manufacturing systems in Western Europe, looking for new ways to engage with consumers in Africa, searching for ways to foster collaboration internally and so much more. I’m most excited by the opportunity to have a diverse set of experiences across an equally wide geography.

Tell us why you are proud to be working for P&G?
The answer is simple. The worldwide recognition of P&G is something that very very few other companies can claim!
