What do you day-to-day?
As the Finance Analyst for Cosmetic and Hair Color, I oversee businesses with combined annual revenue in the hundred millions. At its most basic level, my work consists primarily of ensuring we get maximum value from the investments we make on behalf of our shareholders.  This includes setting our annual plans, managing forecasts which roll up into the global P&G guidance shared with Wall Street and maximizing revenue opportunities through pricing strategy.  With two complex businesses, there is never a dull moment!

What made you choose P&G over other career options?
I came to P&G as an experienced hire after spending 7 years working in Eastern Europe.  I choose P&G primarily due to the high value the company places on its talent; P&G's most valued resource.  P&G invests a lot in its employees and prioritizes people development.   Also P&G’s “Purpose, Value and Principles” are clear and unwavering.  No matter what the situation is, I know that everyone here will always "do the right thing."

What do you like most about working for P&G?
I really value working with and learning from my colleagues who are all very well qualified and knowledgeable about their businesses.  P&G may be one of the few companies that continues to operate as a “grow from within” culture.  All the way up to the CEO and other top global leaders, P&G staff started where I am and learned how to run the business from the bottom up.

Do you have a unique quality, characteristic, disposition that has made you more successful at P&G so far?
I have found that to succeed at P&G you have to be the expert on your own subject matter, but also the #2 expert in all other aspects of the business.  Being intellectually curious will help immensely in understanding the key drivers that will grow your business.
