What do you do day-to-day at P&G?
My role is to develop a strategic and collaborative relationship with my customer. I provide them with solutions that help strengthen and grow their total business by building and sharing a deep understanding of in–depth shopper/consumer knowledge, optimizing the customer’s shelf of products and overseeing industry promotions and events. I want the customer to consider me an expert resource that will help them tackle their daily challenges.

Describe your most exciting day, week, or project with P&G?
Within my 2nd year at P&G, I had the opportunity to co-lead the Customer Business Development New Hire Network for Canada. This network includes all Canadian CBD employees with tenure of 3 year or less with the company. Our objective is to create a social and supportive network that eases new hires through the transition of becoming a P&G employee. As the co-leader, my role was to develop objectives & goals for the year, plan the annual budget, lead meetings, and liaison with upper management and find new ideas that will benefit all new hires!

What have you learned since starting your career with P&G? 
Selling is much more than what it looks like! It is truly a blend of art and science and it requires a clear structure, lots of preparation and a strong delivery. I need to make sure I understand my customer and the shopper’s needs to sell ideas that will meet their expectations and objectives. P&G’s training is focused on developing new hires to become masters of selling. And of course, the acquired set of skills is also beneficial in personal life situations!

What excites you most about your future with P&G?
