What do you do day-to-day at P&G?
I work with multi-functional business partners to develop plans for both short and long term business growth.  This includes analyzing historical results to uncover opportunities, preparing for new product launches with agencies and global counterparts and leading unique Canadian go-to-market plans.  Most days have a great balance between strategic planning and program execution, both of which I get to lead from beginning to end.

What have you learned since starting your career at P&G?
I’ve learned that as the business owner for Tampax Canada I am the closest to the data and as a result, I need to lead management thinking. I am expected to present the right strategic opportunities and ask the right questions to generate the most meaningful insights. It’s a great feeling to have this level of responsibility right out of university.

What made you choose P&G over other career options?
I was very impressed by the P&G talent I met on campus and during the interview process. I wanted to work for a company where the people demonstrated strong leadership skills and genuinely felt energized by the work they do. P&G’s reputation for investing in employee training and growth via their “grow from within” model also played a big part in my decision.

What do you like most about working for P&G?
I like that P&G constantly challenges you with work assignments and levels of responsibility – no day is ever the same. Leadership genuinely listens and responds to your feedback with respect to work assignments and preferences for future roles. From different product categories to different business functions to different geographic markets there is clear opportunity for continued professional and personal growth.
